Dani Ariel

CEO

A trained social worker employed at Ahava since 1996 as the manager of the Family Home Care Units. He spearheaded the development of the program “Protection and Empowerment”. Dani is committed to teamwork, equal opportunity, personal development, and professional mastery, and actively works to promote these values

Mira Albo

Vice President

Mira has been a part of Ahava since 2004, serving in various roles. She holds both a master’s degree in law and a master’s degree in consulting and organizational development. Her responsibilities encompass all aspects of human capital, organizational welfare, compensation, and administrative management. Mira believes that working at Ahava is fundamentally about working from the heart and the soul.

Aliza Sitbon

Manager of the Family Home Care Program

Aliza has dedicated over 35 years to the organization, in various roles. She began as a girls’ group counselor, later took on a coordinator role, and eventually became the manager of our family home care program. Aliza is known for her grounded nature, professionalism, and sensitivity. She holds a degree in education

Amit Teper

Head of the Therapeutic Program

Amit has dedicated over 15 years to the organization, serving in various roles. He is responsible for overseeing the mental health program, which includes managing psychologists and psychotherapists. Amit holds an MA in social work, specializing in CBT, psychotherapy, and private therapy.

Rehavam Zilberman

Manager of Emergency Center at Ahava

With over 22 years of experience in the organization in various roles, including family home care unit counselor, unit coordinator, and center manager, he holds a master’s degree in educational systems management. He is both an educator and a therapist.

Dr. Einat Kapun

Principal of Ahava School

Einat has been the principal of Ahava School since 2015. Ahava School is a special education school for students with emotional and behavioral challenges, grades 1-9. She holds a PhD in Education.

Or Ruchkin

Director of the Bareket Division

Or has been with the organization for over six years, serving in multiple roles including family home care unit counselor, unit coordinator, and currently as director and coordinator. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in at-risk youth, as well as a teaching certificate, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in educational systems management. Or believes that our role is to hold on to hope for the sake of the children.

Shimrit Maya Dahan

Director of the Noga Division

With 20 years of experience in residential programs for children and at-risk youth, Shimrit began her journey at Ahava in 2013 as a family home care unit counselor. She holds a master’s degree in criminology and addictions, is an NLP master, and a certified group facilitator. Shimrit believes that every child deserves a home where they can find a smile, a hug, and words of love.

Eitan Garbois

Director of the Neta Division

Eitan joined Ahava in 2014, starting as a training coordinator. Over the years, he has grown within the organization and, in the past year, has taken on the role of director of the Neta Division.
